Beta Agreement

1. What this is about

You have access to a closed beta of AI Projects Hub. You get your own hub instance at <your-name>.ai-projects-hub.com — with its own database, its own login, and no visibility into other testers. This agreement is not a contract in the legal sense, but a shared understanding of the terms under which we run the beta together.

2. Duration

The beta runs for four weeks from your onboarding. After that, we'll briefly talk about how it went for you and where to take it — either you stay on your instance, move to a self-hosting setup, or we close your instance. In all three cases, your data either comes back to you or gets deleted — nothing migrates into a different bucket.

3. What you do as a tester

• Use the hub realistically — your own projects, your own tasks, your own agents. The more it's part of your day, the more valuable the feedback.
• Tell me when something is annoying, broken, or missing. By email, inside the hub, or in the short conversation after the four weeks.
• Report security-relevant observations privately to me, not in public.

4. What you don't have to do

• No uptime guarantee: The beta runs on a single server. Outages, maintenance windows, or short downtimes can happen.
• No data recovery promise: Backups exist, but point-in-time recovery or guaranteed restoration is not something I can promise during the beta. The beta hub is not the right place for critical data.
• No service level: Response time to bug reports or feature requests is best-effort — usually within a few days, sometimes longer.
• No minimum usage: If you put the beta aside after a week and want out, that's fine.

5. What happens to your data

Your hub instance only stores what you put in — projects, tasks, notes, your agents' session logs. There is no tracking, no analytics, no sharing with third parties. The data lives on a Hetzner server in Germany, is encrypted in transit, and is backup-protected.

Details on processing — legal basis, hosting, your GDPR rights — are in the Privacy Policy. The same applies to your instance: Cloudflare sees the traffic at the edge (bot protection), but the application data itself lives exclusively on the Hetzner server.

6. What happens after the beta

At the end of the four weeks, we decide together:

• Stay on the instance — if the beta transitions into regular operation, you'll get a new agreement.
• Move to self-hosting — you get an export of your data plus instructions to keep running the hub on your own infrastructure.
• Close — your instance is shut down, all data is deleted. You get an export beforehand if you want to take something with you.

7. Opt-out anytime

You can end the beta at any time — no reason needed, no notice period. A short email is enough. Your instance will then be shut down and the data deleted (or exported first, depending on what you want).
